Time flies, really. I can't believe that it's been this long since I last wrote an entry and to think that my last entry was when I quit my first job. :p Now, I'm writing this entry but already I am in my 3rd job (don't get me wrong, my second job was a 2-month project as a Consultant where I earned big time! :p) hehehe!
Currently I am with GMA Network Center under Program Management as a Program Coordinator. Nice huh? It took ages, well 6mos to be exact, before I got in. And it’s a shocking experience if you’re going to ask me ‘coz I wasn’t prepared. Literally not prepared, from the orientation date, to picture taking (wherein I wasn’t informed not to wear white ‘coz the BG is white but I don’t have a choice now do I? So my “ugly duckling” photo will be my ID forever here. That suck!), to the position and of course to the place I’m going to live in. But you know what? Sometimes in life, we really don’t expect the good things coming. So I said to myself, what the heck? It’s my chance of a life time. My first two weeks in GMA I went back and forth from Pampanga to QC. It was ok actually. It’s as if commuting from Angeles to San Fernando so it’s no biggy. But now, I found a comfy and safe place to live. Thanks to the GMA Coop Dorm where my dormates are very nice and friendly.
Now I am settled here and am planning to stay for a long while. J Which is good right? Who am I to decline a good working atmosphere? To be with colleagues so fun and hilarious to be with? With everything so systematic where it should be the case?
I can say that God is really good. He gave me a great opportunity at the perfect time. I may be single but I am thankful of what I have now. J Shine on!
