Serve more love for the elderly
SM employees from Clark, Pampanga, San Fernando Downtown and Savemore Markets Apalit showed concrete act of love to the elders of Bahay Pagibig

Going out beyond the corners of the mall, SM employees
from Clark, Pampanga, San Fernando Downtown and Savemore Markets Apalit showed
concrete act of love to the elders of Bahay Pagibig, a non-government
organization, in the City of San Fernando. Other than the donation of food,
medicine, toiletries and groceries, the volunteer employees shared their time,
love and laughter through songs and dances which the elders actively
participated in. Also, SM pledged to fill 15 donation cans until December 2017.

Sweet and savory surprise treat
Jollibee made a surprise visit to SM Pampanga employees to rejoice the come-back of Jollibee’s Amazing Aloha burger on the fast food’s menu. The burger is made up of a beef patty topped with cheese, bacon, lettuce, honey mustard dressing, and a pineapple round sandwiched in between two buns. The combination of sweet, sour, and beefy flavors that makes the Aloha burger amazing. Following up on its very successful store openings in Pasay City, Quezon City and Taguig City, UNIQLO is set to reach more Filipinos by opening its first store outside of Metro Manila.

SM City Pampanga: Central Luzon's Largest Shopping Mall
UNIQLO opens its fourth store in the Philippines in SM City Pampanga, located at the intersection of Jose Abad Santos Avenue and North Luzon Expressway in San Fernando City. It is the largest shopping mall in Central Luzon with regard to leasable area (132,484 square meters). It opened on November 11, 2000 and features a wide variety of tenants and flagship stores. The mall underwent redevelopment with the opening of Annex One in 2002, Annex Two in 2003 and Annex Three in 2007.

Funny how some people has been there all your life then suddenly become strangers.
Same as how some strangers suddenly holds a very dear space in our hearts.
As I grow older (and wiser I hope) I've never thought that I'll gain more friends than what I aready have. But I was wrong. As I let go of one person, many came to fill in that BIG space.
I have learned to let go and let things fall on it own course and something (or for this matter, someone) better came along. No expectations. Just pure fun.
So my status? I'm not single but I'm not taken either. I'm merely on reserve for someone who deserves my love.

Opportunity to travel key cities of the Philippines
For the past two years, i am fortunate enough to travel to key cities of the Philippines from Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao as part of my job with SM. i have witnessed cultures of the different provinces and regions, smelled and tasted their culinary history, and felt the warm welcome of each places we've been to.
This is all-thanks to my great boss who trusted and appointed me as project coordinator for the Brillante Mendoza Film Festival. I cannot express my gratitude more for the opportunity she has given me.
Now that we are almost approaching the year-end, I would like to dedicate this entry for my boss for the wonderful experience and great chance for letting me go out of my vomfort zone and see the beauty of our country.
I have learned a lot from the project over the two years. The project may continue (or not) i am already privileged enough to have been a part of her team and the worthwhile advocacy that we fully supported all-through-out.
What's more, the priceless bonding I had with mu co-PRs is something that I will cherish forever.

I am guilty of neglecting my blog for the year 2012. A lot has changed since i last accessed my blog and I am a little rusty on how to go around editing and stuff. I believe adsense will discontinue? Hmmm i have to do something about that. Though i did recieved google's letter.

My 'other' best friend...
Last February 14, 2012, Valentine gave me more love than I expected. This was the day my baby and best friend, Friday, was born.
Friday is a lhasa apso. She was given to me by my partner Ceejay as a gift. She is Yuki's biological sister which made it even special. Ceejay and I love Yuki so much and are very happy that Friday came into our life.
Mommy and my sisters also adore her. She has antics that make us laugh so hard. she's a classic. She's our only pet that can stay inside the house and sleeps with me on my bed. My baby sister Bik-Bik loves her so much too. She never fails to cuddle and play with her everyday.
Friday has grown so fast. She's already 9 months old and am proud to say a very healthy dog. She's the first thing i see every morning and patiently waits for me from work at night. Her loyalty and love is unconditional and it never tires. <3 p="p">

SM Supermalls presents Brillante Mendoza Film Festival
Being a proud Kapampangan, his film festival started in SM City Pampanga on December 2010 in time for the mall's 10th Year Anniversary. The roving film festival had its first stop in SM City Cebu last August 4-5, 2011. In celebration of Quezon City Day, the 2nd stop of the filmfest was held at SM City North Edsa last August 10-11. The most recent film fest was held at SM City Cagayan De Oro last August 17-18.
Next stop for the Brillante Mendoza Film Festival for the year 2011 is on August 25-26 at SM City Iloilo; September 5-6 SM City Baguio and October 19-20 in SM City Bacolod.
For interested movie goers who would like to see Direk Mendoza's award winning films may inquire to the malls mentioned. :)

Sa halagang P4
I woke early today to prepare for work and even had a chance to have breakfast with mommy. She kindly prepared me my water jug and 3 cookies as my baon. :p Feeling its going to be a very good day, I kissed mommy goodbye and I'm off to work. Even if it's too hot (only 8:30 in the morning) my umbrella and I walked from the house to the entrance of our Village, hailed a jeepney and got in. Once seated, I rummage my bag for my wallet to pay. Low and behold, my wallet is not in my bag! I frantically searched even if I know that I wont find my wallet but I did found P4 coins in the small pocket of my bag. Since I'm too far from the village to walk back, I told the driver that I only have P4 with me and if it's OK with him. Thank God he said OK and seems to understand my dilemma. I got down at SM terminal and realized another problem. I have no money to pay for my fare going to the office! >.< I went up to the booth (where people must pay first before hoping on the jeep) and talked to the Manong and told him I left my wallet and if I can ride the jeep but with the promise that Il pay him tomorrow. The 'barker' said, "OK lang suki naman si Ma'am!" I rode the jeep and got in the office 10minutes early.
Now I'm writing my post from the office where i realized that there are still kind people in the world. One way or the other, people still do understand where one's badluck or dilemma is coming from and didnt want to make it harder for them. Moments where we felt worried and helpless but help will always come our way.
Just like what the bible said, “Then Jesus said to his disciples: ‘Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat; or about your body, what you will wear. Life is more than food, and the body more than clothes. Consider the ravens: They do not sow or reap, they have no storeroom or barn; yet God feeds them. And how much more valuable you are than birds! Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life? Since you cannot do this very little thing, why do you worry about the rest?’” (Luke 12:22-26, NIV)
